LEAPMOTOR

Leapmotor started in June 2019 with the S01 coupe with front-mounted electric motor, followed by the fwd T03 4-seat mini car in March 2020. The ternary battery in the T03 was gradually replaced by the iron phosphate battery from 2021 to 2023.

In December 2020 arrived the ternary battery C11 5-seat SUV with a 200 kW rear electric motor or as a four-wheel-drive with front and rear electric motors. In December 2021 an iron phosphate battery was fitted in the entry level model. In March 2023, an EREV model was launched with a 3-cylinder 1.2 engine at the front, replaced by a 4-cylinder 1.5 in September 2023, both with an iron phosphate or ternary battery, depending on drive range. The pure electric single motor ternary battery model was deleted in March 2024.

On the same wheelbase came in September 2022 the 5 meter long C01 sedan with a choice of iron phosphate or ternary battery for the rear-wheel-drive models. In September 2023, an EREV model was launched with a 4-cylinder 1.5 engine at the front, while in March 2024 the double engine model, and the ternary battery for the pure electric models were deleted. In the first year this vehicle was availble in Coral Orange.

On a 105 mm shorter platform arrived in March 2024 the C10 SUV with 170 kW (export 160 kW), and with iron phosphate battery only. No double motor model was offered, but an EREV model was with a 4-cylinder 1.5 engine at the front. BEV and EREV models do not differ in appearance, with the exception of the fuel cap on the rear right of the EREV. In May 2025, the motor was upgraded to 220 kW in China, except for the entry level model.

On the same platform came the C16 6-seat (2+2+2) SUV in June 2024, 176 mm extended at the rear, with a 215 kW motor for the pure electric model and the 170 kW motor for the EREV. The 215 kW motor will be upgraded to 220 kW later in 2025.

On a still 90 mm shorter platform, and 235 mm shorter than the C11 came in April 2025 the pure electric B10 SUV with a 132 kW motor to be accompanied in June by 160 kW motor. The chassis has been jointly tuned with the Maserati team, achieving 50:50 front and rear weight distribution and precise control, and high-speed cornering roll suppression. The sound system can also simulate the "high-pitched" exhaust sound of Maserati.

In July 2025 the B01 sedan on the same wheelbase will be introduced. Available color schemes include Morgan Pink, Xilu Purple, and Starry Night Blue. It will be launched in more than 20 countries and regions around the world in 2025. The drag coefficient is as low as 0.197 Cd. A new Hongqi model will share the same platform.

In September 2024, Leapmotor C10 and T03 were officially launched in 13 European countries. From January to April 2025, Leapmotor's overseas export sales exceeded 13,600 units, ranking first among China's new power brands. Domestically, Leapmotor topped the sales list of new power brands in March and April.
